I honestly don't know why I didn't check beforehand. I rang up nice and clear voice and then the woman on the other end started laughing saying you have to be 18. I just went 'uhh… okay, thank you'
Has anyone ever done this before? I feel so stupid. -.-
When I was 16/17, I had tried to apply at many places that hired only at 18 (which I wasn't aware of beforehand). I was never embarrassed about it, so I wasn't the age they hired at, next place. There's nothing embarrassing about not knowing the age they hire at, and the woman who was laughing at you sounds like somewhat of an idiot.

I don't know why she laughed at you, it's not your fault you didn't know! I had no idea you have to be 18+ to work there either… :-/ lol don't feel stupid though!
Do you mean has anyone ever done something they later regret?
I'd take a wild guess and say that the absolute majority of anyone who is of sentient mind has done something they regret.
As for the woman laughing at you, I'd ring their head office and report her for not being professional towards you. You made a legitimate mistake, and shouldn't be laughed off the phone like that.
Of course you do – but it's happened to all of us!
Forget it – certainly don't start the nonsense route of complaints or anything else. All you'll prolong is how daft you feel.
