Which is Better to Get a Job in Il Mat (master Art of Teaching) or Certification?

I am debating whether to get a MAT degree or just a certification..some are telling me that schools will not hire me due to pay cost with having a masters…is this true??

Honestly, we had a meeting with interns (as I'm an intern this semester) with my county's school district. They said it varies from the school district and the hiring staff if they pick someone with a masters degree, someone with more experience, etc. A lot of states are trying to make it required to get a masters degree.

If you have your Bachelors degree you should get your certification anyway and may decide to work on your masters degree now or later. Good luck!
